Welcome to the South Suburban Stars!
Synchronized skating is a team sport where 8-20 skaters perform a program together – in synchronization! It uses the same judging system as singles, pairs and dance and is characterized by teamwork, speed, intricate formations and challenging step sequences. As with other disciplines, all teams perform a free skate with required, well-balanced program elements. In addition, teams at the junior and senior level perform a short program consisting of required elements.
The Stars proudly represent the Colorado Skating Club. Our home rink is the South Suburban Ice Arena in Centennial, Colorado. Our teams compete in USFSA sanctioned competitions and ISI events throughout Colorado, as well as skating a featured number in ‘Showtime on Ice”.
